I have been gone for a long time, I know, I'm sorry. Inspiration stopped. I missed you all. Here's my newest, I just wrote it, as always Pip has helped to inspire my words, I owe so much to you guys. Love you!!!! -Kate The Reason I have Cried at Night It didn’t matter that my feelings bleed Or that the world seemed to close When I uttered those words “It’s for our better” Now I cry at night, You hold that dark expression That frightens my heart For you’re gone inside Unable to be silent Unable to live I pick up the phone And dial you in You pick up the line Your voice normal pitch My sobs come through and I hear you Real as you once were “I can’t do this Amanda” My name rings in my ears “Don’t leave me, don’t leave me” I plead in the phone I realize it’s backwards For it’s I that proposed That we try to be separate Until you return "What are you!?" |

oh Kate!!!!!! I missed you!!!! I don't know why i'm the 1st to reply to this as it is a lovely sad heartfelt poem. Your writing hand sure does wonders when you put your mind to it. good to be back.. even if its only for tonight. |
