The man you had He seemed to treat you good That was the last time I saw the faith you had in your eyes What happens now? Ill just walk back to my car Leave you with the one thing I want I had to just turn away Your heart is already gone He was the one I knew would win I kept waiting for that moment to come I want your love When will it come? Will it crash into this broken sun? The times I wanted to spend with you I need to figure out what’s wrong The free fall my heart gave me Why did it just fall? I hope what I have isn’t gone I will climb out of the bottom of this valley Maybe it has something for me along the way It’s my goal just to get out of this hole I want one starry night So I can hold my head up and leave you alone But now you’re leaving on the first flight To get out of this dust bowl Those words I had to say I have kept in all my life They will never leave me Till the day I leave earth behind |
