Life is a forever changing story, Who knew that I would end up here? Would never have guessed I'd be happy Thought I would forever live in fear. When I walked out and left, I watched you crumble and fall. I had to do it for us to get better, No longer at your beckoning call. I realised there was more to my life, Than picking up the pieces of yours, Leaving you alone in that house, Was for a beneficial cause. Not ashamed for what I did, On the contrary I'm satisfied, I wasn't trying to get revenge, For all those times you lied. I know that I sound bitter, Yet that's not how I feel, You're on the recovery road now, And this time it’s for real. I admit that there are days, That I feel a little low, But that’s normal and it’s okay, It helps us to grow. To anyone who's had it tough Or is going through it now, Don't lose sight of that glimmer of hope, Because it's what gets you through, somehow. |

Love It Hunny.... Going through this now.. Gives me hope.. makes me wish for something better... Awesome Write, as per usual.. Don't worry about the lack of comments... People don't take the time to bother these days... gets depressing at times lol.. |

Not only is this well written, but I think that you're going to show a lot of people the importance of holding on to at least a little hope when they want to let go. |

Thank you for your comments I haven't written for quite a while and I think that's mainly because I'm trying to look to the future rather than dwelling on the past. I think although the poems on the forum are amazing and very emotional, they can be quite upsetting and sometimes it feels as though we forget that things can get better and more often than not, they do. Thanks again for the comments guys, look forward to reading more of your work Belinda~* Expect nothing, Prepare for anything. |
