This isn't much, but here it is. You love me, dare I say this now Or should I keep this secret, too Along with others we allow To welcome sin within our view There’s guilty passion on my face But love I know will conquer all. His once beloved wife, disgraced The blame I’ll take if soon I fall You love me, truth will show it soon It grows until its plain to see For love that’s old there is no room There’s only space enough for me The pain is no where near my heart There’s only love inside of us So why let shame split us apart When we could live without the fuss You love me, why do you love her Ignore that you betrayed her trust Because no longer are you pure You gave into desire and lust. With God I am happy; sadness has no say in my life. |
