Tell me why you’re not listening To a single word I’ve said Then tell me why I’m crying Here on somebody else’s bed Then tell my why my shallow heart Is bleeding out in pain And tell me why the life I live Is driving me insane It’s almost hard to walk away I guess I’m not that strong I’m sick of crying stain-glassed tears And admitting that I’m wrong I can’t help that I’m a failure I’ve always tried my best I guess that’s not enough for you And you need all the rest You see I doubt you’re worth the effort But I’m far too blind to see That the remarks you dish out everyday Are slowly killing me Someday soon I’ll fight again But for now I’m just too tired Your words to me are poison And it seems you’ve got me wired So for now I’ll just stop breathing Even though I’m afraid of dying Life shouldn’t be this hard And I’m really sick of trying. |
