open your eyes
and look at me
open your eyes
and take me in

open your heart
i wish you could see how i feel
open your heart
and look at me with that
open your heart
so look at me,
with your heart
and tell me i'm not worth it
tell me you don't love me
tell me i wasted my hope on you
tell me that you never loved me
in that way

close your eyes
i want to show you how it feels
close your eyes
and take one deep breath
close your eyes
feel me touch your shoulder, lightly
tenderly
close your eyes
and feel me rip your beating heart
out of the now empty cavity of your chest

My pen is the barrel of a gun. Remind me which side you should be on.

Intensely passionate...yet with a degree of humor.

I mean, to see you "rip their beating heart
out of the empty cavity of their chest" [edit mine] made me chuckle a bit.
