Dear you, I think you know who you are, You’re the one who taunted me The one who told me I wasn’t good enough. I wasn’t perfect. You told me to put down the fork and pick up the knife. I have to let you go. I can’t be with you anymore. I can’t spend my days thinking about. I can’t spend my money on you. I refuse to acknowledge you. I have moved on. I think we both knew this was coming. I mean, he makes me feel so happy, and beautiful too. I don’t need you anymore. You created a void, That I thought no one could fill And he came along and now… I feel right with myself. Even if this doesn't last, he will have left something in me: hope. But I have one last request: Don’t do this to anyone else please I don’t want another person to suffer Like I had to I don’t want to hear about another person Hiding in fear and shame Please don’t do it. Please. Yours sincerely, A survivor My pen is the barrel of a gun. Remind me which side you should be on. |

I am very impressed not only by your writing but also by you. I know how hard it is and I myself have not quite gotten there but you seem to be able to write it out and heal. I admire you. |
