I see you standing there all alone Staring at all the girls passing by Why do you want be a clone All it does is make you cry You're constantly aiming higher Comparing yourself to models You should know society is a liar You're practically living off pill bottles What you want isn't real But you're so blinded by mainstream That you skip every meal For an illusion of a fake dream One day you'll wake up and see That what you think you need Isn't really what you should be What you're doing will not make you succeed You're not the ugly one Humanity is just a nasty goblin I can't stand watching what you've done Starving yourself to your coffin |

I really loved this poem and I know someone who is going through this. It is horrible to see what they are comparing themselves to and what they are doing to themselves. Thankyou for ths poem. M My pen is the barrel of a gun. Remind me which side you should be on. |
