The Chemistry listen to the rain sometimes soft like your touch, sometimes hard rapid pounding like your anger. when eyes smolder, a million wings begin to beat inside, my heart a clump of butterflies. in curiosity, worry and guilt. my hand fits perfectly within your grasp, yet i can’t reach you in your angry state. is it pride, or protection? don’t hold in your tears they won’t burn you cheeks. don’t hold back your words they won’t scare me. something between us gone terribly wrong, help balance the chemistry, help me fix the broken book, full of little mistakes. |
