I wrote this today while waiting for my band to come over, It's not really finished and I need to make some corrections but here is the rough draft I sit here reminiscing of the past day, the time spent with was heartwarming, that day was perfect in every little way, the arrogance in the park that we mocked, the smokers who cough, we sat on the swings gliding back and forth, ignoring all around us, something I never do, I was enticed in your smile and your laugh, what had felt like 20 minutes, 4 hours had passed, we talked of nothing but everything all at once, we never noticed when the arrogance left the park, nor the smoker who passed as he slipped from our sight. Hours passed as we joked and laughed, I was lost in your eyes, but now I face a difficult choice, Do you feel as I do? Is what I feel there really there? Do I risk letting my heart out from behind its roadblock for a chance at internal bliss? |

Aww, you nearly made me cry! Like most of these poems it reminds me of my last boyfriend so  but still how beautiful and if it's true then best of luck to you!!
