so I'm planning on giving this to my boyfriend for Valentine's day..cheesy I know. But i'm coming out of writer's block so i had to spin off of my old work a bit. any critique you have would be great because I want it to be perfect. Let me tell you a story A story that's actually true Yes, it's a love story And it's about me and you! "Red Rover Red Rover" Was how I met you I was the losing underdog Who you came to rescue "Quieres ser mi paraja?" I asked in our Spanish class Our mutual love for the Bible Made our friendship grow fast Soon you had my heart But you didn't want mine I decided you were worth the wait So I waited on the sidelines I chased you for a year! And yes, Disneyland was a scheme But you never objected to my moves Made me think that you wanted me In July you married me A drunk night to Sin City But it was just a joke You still didn't like me *sigh* I was giving up hope But my best friend yelled at you Got you to open your eyes Then you finally made a move  A midnight evening in August Our first kiss was shared It was all so magical There was such bliss in the air! You actually said you loved me! It's more than just a crush I better be careful Cause I'm falling for you so much! And now, my love, it's Valentine's My feelings I must confess I like you just the way you are Nothing more, nothing less I love you way you treat me So gentle and so kind I thank God everyday That He gave me a love like mine We may not be the perfect couple We definitely have our flaws But we also work things out With such effort that deserves applause My long awaited fairytale The thing I've dreamt of all my life I've finally found in you, my dear And it just feels so right There's no need to be sad With you by my side The thought of you make me happy And I think about you day and night You cant understand how lucky I feel To have someone like you I'm feeling bliss for the first time And I don't know what to do! So on this day of love There's one thing I want to do I gotta tell you this secret: Shhhhh! I love you!!! <3 only a vampire can love you forever. forbidden to remember, terrified to forget |
