What has happened to this world?
The good people aren’t good
The bad people are worse
What can I do to help?
I can’t fight because
I don’t know if I'm strong enough.
I can’t cheer because
I don’t know what to say.
I can’t hope because
I don’t know how to believe.
I can’t help because
I don’t know which side is the good guys.

It is up to you and others to make the changes in the world to better it...I think we all have had these feelings at one time or another...

I am thrilled to note this kind of query from a teen, and to see that your perception is clear and valid. All change for good begins a person at a time, as does evil. But note also that as the wicked become more wicked, so also do the good become more good. There is hope- maybe not for all because not all choose a higher path, but for anyone who will not yield to the easy way of evil.
