The thought crossed my mind I’ve realized I’m nothing I don’t think you know I love you Wave goodbye with the moon rising I won’t be around to face you in this lie I don’t want to be put down This was the last time Let this half sun be gone The world I told was magic Can’t be found The fire I had has been burning too hot The spark it ignited in the cold air last night With the hot sun keeping it burning bright But the fire it once lit has burned out It went cold to fast to realize what had happened Let me find a new fire To come to for its warmth I need now Is there anyone out there that wants to help? The girl I need to talk to is gone Her fire kept me alive It has gone away Now the embers that kept me going strong have faded away The light in my dreams has dimmed further With one last gleam I now feel free |
