Knowing it’s wrong But wanting it anyway It’s been so long Almost a day Feels like a year The needs make me Filled with fear Oh my god can’t you see? The inner war To not give in Through it’s strong call It’s a strong sin This addiction Removes all diction The need pulling me Like the strong tide Being strong is key The time’s mine to bide Tired and sick This addiction is like a tick Sucking on my strength But too what length? Laying on my bed Wishing I was dead The need is stronger I’m not gonna last much longer… And now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep. And if I die before I wake, I pray the lord my soul to take. |
