I know this feeling-
This eluding confusion.
It's all in your mind,
it's just an illusion

On paper, it's simple-
It's crisp and it's clean.
It's still and it's silent,
but somehow obscene

You lie and you tell me
You're happier now,
You say you have answers,
But god knows how.

When no one is looking,
Don't go hide your face.
There is no sinful shame
In knowing your place.

You are human, my love,
not a toy or a game.
you are lost and alone-
that has no shame.
