I push a rainbow across the sky, Just so I can smile, a couple of times. I’ll fool you to believe That I’m okay. Fool you to believe My eyes don’t hold pain. I hold on tight unto the sun, Just to get rid, of this pale complexion. I’ll fool you to believe That I’m not sick. Fool you to believe That I’m going to live. Who will you believe? This body or me? The frown on my lips Or the words I speak? Who will you believe? This body or me? The courage in my face Or my deformed physique? |
