My skin is tingling Thinking of my life Nights pass in the blink of an eye And days mock me Hours become seconds to my mind I say my goodbyes, Prepare for a thousand new hellos Love how can I leave you? How can I step out and go? It seems surreal, like a dream Will I wake in a moment? Discoving years that never exsisted? I go on to new love The mountains in the dessert That you've never known My birth place is calling my name "Amanda..." it whispers to me Pulling as only purple mountains do The valleys and brooks haunting my memory Invading my very dreams "Amanda..." you plead "Don't leave me..." my heart breaks Rawr!!!!! (That means "I love you" in Dinosaur) :) |

Great poem! So Great, it took my breath away. I just want to keep reading it over and over again. Good job!!! "When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car" |
