Time keeps running
But it feels frozen

Tomorrow is coming- I know it
But I can't feel it

Time is running, running out
Like a shoddy date
With stilletto heels
That break your foot upon leaving

Forgive me timemaker
For wasting the moments
That are dwindling down to hours

And in a metal bird
I shall fly away
Looking forward, glancing back
In life's own rear view mirror

I can see my baby's face
The nose pressed into the frosty window
Yet, I move onward
My new path set

Follow me.

"What are you!?"
"I'm complicated."
