So this was an english assignment at school. We were supposed to write a poem based on a route we take to a place, or used to take to go somewhere. I couldn't think of any that were of significance, so I wrote a figurative/imaginative route that I took once upon a time. As I start my journey to a place I once knew, I'm reminded of my memories and how they keep me going. The road is long and narrow, I'm not sure if I can make it. Hardships come and hardships go, I pray they'll make me stronger. I see the end is arriving as I look back on my past. Should I continue... or hover in my fear..? I will move on and greet the light with joy. In the end we will conquer, in the end we will live on, and we will fear no more. As I arrive I say 'goodbye' to my life as it was, and say 'hello' to how it will be, while I walk - finally home. julianna "Many of the most significant moments in our lives come not because it all went right, but because it all fell apart." - Rob Bell |

This is really good. I like that you took the topic and put a different twist on it |
