As I start my journey
to a place I once knew,
I'm reminded of my memories
and how they keep me going.

The road is long and narrow,
I'm not sure if I can make it.
Hardships come and hardships go,
I pray they'll make me stronger.

I see the end is arriving
as I look back on my past.
Should I continue...
or hover in my fear..?

I will move on and greet the light with joy.
In the end we will conquer,
in the end we will live on,
and we will fear no more.

As I arrive I say 'goodbye'
to my life as it was,
and say 'hello' to how it will be,
while I walk - finally home.
