There is something cleansing in the water. The way it splays your hair In a thousand shimmering strands That light the water all around. Your eyes are closed, but still they flicker Humming with the River as you sleep. The white silk rests upon your skin And swims in the wind beneath the water, Your heart-beat breaks the calm surface Of the mirror softly In a wave of quiet ripples. A cloud shifts across the sky And you are revealed in all your beauty Radiant in the silver flames of the moon. The little white rose Pale as the stars beneath your eyelids Blooms bright as the light of the night above From where it rests to crown your head. I can hear the singing in my soul, Yet I can see your lips are still. ~Taylor And as each player moves their piece, confident and tall |

Whoa dude.. The last two lines were really powerful. Over all the poem was beautiful and entertaining. Thanks for the good read. -Zach Wish I could find love.. But all I find these days are superficial fish in shallow waters. |
