Definitely not the greatest poem I've written, but there was something in me, that had to write it. The sorry you never got You hate me, Yeah I know! I held your secret Between the palm of my hands And you trusted me to keep it safe, But I just had to let it fly off. You hate me, Yeah I know! Mouthing off lies And half truths. Oh I just had, Just Had To find something on you. You hate me, Yeah I know! I led you into a house of mirrors, Said "I love you" But only to use you And then throw you away. You hate me, Yeah I know! I yelled and screamed With slurring words. Too drunk to see Who I hurt. You hate me, Yeah I know! You came from me Yet I never told you That I loved you, Or hugged you like I should. You hate me, Yeah I know! To blood and pain, I brought you to that place. I let the broken tears Flow down such a precious face. You Hate Me, Yeah… I Know! I Hate Me, Too! I'm Sorry!!! So... So... Sorry! Please forgive me! (inspired by many poems on these forums, and in other forums) Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13) But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. (Luke 6:27-28) |
