The soft shadow of a somber passing, the warm, tender touches of those we love, the unspoken words that too often arise only in darkness and threatening of love. The heart that brought joy; silenced forever. A grievously infinite time to mute. Forever, a time that we all try to find, Perpetual only in memoir and cue. Our only comfort in the gentle belief, of life after death and life and death flow. Those left to live in the shade a death makes; Remembering; attempting, and learning to let go. I know he won't like it, but crying will happen. I'll smile, I'll laugh, just to prove I'll pull through. I'll cry my eyes out, sing my soul in his name. And I know that he knows, but... Papa, I love you. *Note: I wrote this last year on January first 2009, the night that my Papa died (Papa is my Dad's foster Dad, but he was more of a real Grandpa to me). He died of Pnacreatic cancer three weeks afterwe found out. |

Awww! I'm so sorry about your loss. This is a wonderful poem for your Papa. Hope things get better. -Zach Wish I could find love.. But all I find these days are superficial fish in shallow waters. |

Things are better. This happened over a year ago and I know that my Papa is in a better place. Hakuna Matata! =^.^= ~UNTAMEDelegance There's nothing wrong with arguing with yourself. It's when you argue with yourself and lose that it's weird. |
