I don't know how good this poem is, but I just wrote it, so I can't expect it to be good. Sorry if it's a bit long, just let me know what you think, even if you don't like it. My nose sniffles On top this freezing hill, Whining, While I wait for J. Williams, Boyfriend No. 7, But if he doesn't show, My nose Is sure to fall off And die, And decompose. My fingers quiver A little here and a little there, Whispering, While I wait for T. White, Boyfriend No. 9, But if he doesn't show, My fingers Are sure to break off And die, And decompose. My hair sways With the beating winds of this hill, Whipping, While I wait for L. Whitney, Boyfriend No. 12, But if he doesn't show, My hair Is sure to fall off And dance away, And decompose. My feet tap… While I wait… Boyfriend No. 16, But if he doesn't show… And die, And decompose. My arms… My lips… My eyes water… Boyfriend No.32… But if he doesn't show… But if he doesn't show… My heart Will fall frozen And die, And decompose. “All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling.”--Oscar Wilde |
