Entirely experimental. Flow is out the window. This is just...well. You'll see. I was having a play around.

One Day, Some Day

Some day we’ll find one day
To lie back and make it ours
And I’ll laugh in the face of the faceless and faithless
And laugh in the face of myself

So take it or leave it, though I’d rather steal it
Just to be different and just to be out there
But out there ain’t so cool when you can’t get back in
And you don’t really want to either

Can’t go blaming it on the horoscopes or cards or growing pains
Or the bottom of a tea cup that holds nothing but coffee stains
And you got impeccable aim for that ceiling fan
And you got impeccable art for feelin’ down

So find it and [ ] it and shoot it down
And wear black with brown and swear on the life
Of the lifeless and worthless and tasteless words
Of the guy in the gutter and the girl in the speaker

Crash the system and curse in the face of the error
With its techno print and red writing and nominal terror
Its funny how we choose to ignore but even funnier
That ignorance ain’t really bliss. But is it?

So, some day we’ll find one day
To lie back and make it ours
And I’ll laugh in the face of the faceless and faithless
And laugh in the face of myself.
