First Poem...not very good....

I had the perfect Father long ago

Whose warm smile could melt even snow

His arms rapped around me and held me tight

His eyes, wide open, kept pain out of sight

As time moved on, stress crept up between us

It formed a wall that severed our trust

My tears cried out, but the wall did not give

Through pain and suffering, I chose to live

Eventually, the wall crumbled before me

But stress had left its mark, he could not see

I hear him cry out, he has lost his way

He will not be found, I remember the pain
