Farewell Father |

First Poem...not very good.... I had the perfect Father long ago Whose warm smile could melt even snow His arms rapped around me and held me tight His eyes, wide open, kept pain out of sight As time moved on, stress crept up between us It formed a wall that severed our trust My tears cried out, but the wall did not give Through pain and suffering, I chose to live Eventually, the wall crumbled before me But stress had left its mark, he could not see I hear him cry out, he has lost his way He will not be found, I remember the pain |
