I never would have felt this different,
this good,
this amazing,
this right,
this wrong,
if it weren't for you.

You changed me,
changed my life,
changed the people around you,
changed the world,
changed the universe,
and the way I think.

I couldn't speak,
I couldn't hear,
I couldn't stop caring,
I couldn't feel,
I was a numb.

A flower of such beauty,
un-able to wilt,
even for the longest drought.
Your petals always filled with such life,
and growing at such a pace.

Figures why I stumbled over myself,
Just to catch up.
Your not a trophy,
because I've already lost the race,
but your going to be still at the finish line.
