Why do we laugh to stop the tears? Why do we laugh when faced with fears? Why do we laugh when we should be sad? Come to thinking, why do we laugh when we're glad? Why do we cry with joy on our face? Why do we cry when all is in place? Why do we cry over things that are small? Come to thinking, why do we cry at all? Why do we smile when covering hate? Why do we smile when tempting fate? Why do we smile with clouds in the sky? Come to thinking, why do we smile when we cry? Why do we try when everything's wrong? Why do we try when life is so long? Why do we try when nothing goes right? Come to thinking, I know why... We try for the fight. |

i loved it  i fought through alot of teasing when i was younger and i guess thats the whole reason i didnt give up, although i didnt realize it then i refused to be beat down without a fight. well i won and now im so much better than before. great poem. |
