Someone, Somewhere, Something, Someday Someone was ever so deceiving When we talked about the one thing you and I knew nothing about I don¡¦t think you know how it hurts To derive a lie out of these words Somewhere there was a boy weeping When his daytime dreaming faded to unreasonable doubts I don¡¦t think you know how it tastes To hear a voice that never goes away Something was comfortably bleeding When the airwaves told me I am the one you can do without I don¡¦t think you know how it feels To bear a wound that refuses to heal Someday there will be a girl sleeping When her nightmares result in shivers, cold-sweat and shouts I think you will know how it¡¦s like To ruin somebody¡¦s life and think it¡¦s alright [This message has been edited by mikalcheuk (02-15-2009 12:21 PM).] |

Nice poem "Somewhere there was a boy weeping When his daytime dreaming faded to unreasonable doubts I don¡¦t think you know how it tastes To hear a voice that never goes away" Good visuals for ur first poem. I would suggest you try and expand on the substance in your first stanza. Nonetheless this was a good read. |

An excellent first post my friend. And welcome to this hallowed place of penmanship. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |
