Far from the light in ebon night
The shadows stretch their claws
Down on my knees I reach for the keys
To open up Hell’s doors

Torches blaze in a stygian haze
Of acrid stinging smoke
The roar of the fire the great central pyre
In the darkness I choke

Misery was born when my wings were torn
And my halo was stripped
The fate of the proud hurled from the clouds
By a divine edict

But my wings grew anew in raven hue
Fallen I was named
To eat of the dead in this place of dread
I not God was blamed

Afar from the sun the fallen one
Cast out for my sin
I fell from above for a woman’s love
The true heaven within

As the prophets say I will wait for the day
When I will rise again
To reap what they sow a herald of woe
And vindicate my pain

As we conquer above I will meet my love
In sinful ecstasy
The old world will die and we will arise
To begin a dynasty

Ooo, I haven't written something this dark in ages. Hehe.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.

Ayo, ill...
I feel the dark passion in this poem. The visuals go hard as hell in this piece.
Good to see your still puttin down fire, Cleave
