( this was the second poem i ever wrote [that wasn't a school assignment] and its really the reason why i started writing poetry so i hope you guys enjoy this)

Blue sapphire and green red fire,
the saddest sight,
the brightest smile,
heaven and hell and all the rest,
and the shards, the shards , the shards,
of what was once a whole,
of what was once a soul,
of what was once a heart,
You burned it all,
You broke it all,
You tore it all to shreds
and simply walked away.
I've climbed the stairs,
I've bared the sorrow,
Been through it all,
Been hurt by you,
Been scarred by you,
Been scared of you,
been mad at you,
Been in love with you,
But you simply chose to walk away.
I've said i'm done with you
That i'm over it.
Yet here i am crying blue sapphire
filled with green fire,
here i am the saddest sight
and there you are
with the brightest smile
and here you were
and here you were
and now your there
and now your there,
and now life just seems so sere
and all is barren and desolate.
And here i am crying blue sapphire,
and burning with
green red fire.
