most of dads dont have time for their kids and are always busy working, i understand its for them to give us a comfortable life, but i think they're forgetting one impt thing, being a dad is not just working to earn money. kids need their dads just like they need their moms, to tell them what's wrong or right, to guide them in life, to be their friend.. they need someone to listen to them and help them make the right decisions... daddy look at me dont i look pretty? mommy said i got ur eyes they shine like the stars in the sky daddy look at me are u still busy? mom said i could ask you she said there's nothing u can't do hey dad, u look good in red hey u know school aint easy like u said their words are still ringing in my head dad did u hear me? i guess not, im just gonna go to bed daddy guess what?!!! here's something i got it's from my friend joe he's really sweet, don't you think so? uhm he asked me out daddy u think its alright? were just gonna go see a movie ill be home before midnight. hey dad, i'm back why are u still working on that? oh yeah i get it u can't talk tonight fine ill go to bed then, goodnight dad can we...talk now? if i did something wrong, can u forgive me somehow? dad.. im.... dad are u listening? oh never mind, ill see u in the morning.. dear daddy, i just wanted to say im sorry i did something crazy i hope u can forgive me u see, joe and i did something were not supposed to do i know its wrong but dad, i wanted it too im sorry dad but im gonna make it right im gonna get rid of the baby tonight if something happens, pls tell mom i love her you'll be in my heart forever i just wished u were there to listen daddy im not just a responsibility, I AM YOUR DAUGHTER.. |

Another wise and heartwrenching poem from you, dear Karren! Dads so often do not realize the importance of their presence ... My children are adults and still they remember that their dad was always busy ... never played with them, never had the time for real talks. I remember the moment when my daughter told him she had a boyfriend. He almost fainted ... I guess it was really because he had not realized how she had grown out of her childhood. Brava, again.
