Lost. Cold and forgotten. Icy fingers grip your soul. Fear. Hard and unmoving. Snaking through your veins. Fighting off apathy. Needing an epiphany. An angel fell. A soulless shell. A demon’s sweet coo, Singing false lullabies to you. Fighting fire fades away. Don’t want to stay another day. As another heart starts to stray, A rebel’s cry streaks the sky, And Lady Hope does not die. |

I had to comment on your poem because I found it very interesting. You see I have always paired demons with lullabies and to see another writer do this is very exciting. I've always had this little song at the back of my head ever since I was little, it goes Sing, laugh, love, cry Listen to my lullabye. One by one they fall to us.... And so on so forth. But it is about demons and how they sing to you at night and I'm sorry I'm somewhat or really rambling now. Great poem, I loved it! |

This is absolutely amazingly well constructed without being rigid. Perfect. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |
