Hi Everyone,
This is the first poem I have ever written. It basically represents the depression phase of my life. During that period I became an explorer of knowledge and uncovered truths to enlighten my life. Personally I feel that if you are going through the depression period of your life then it can be a blessing in disguise. If you come out of it then you will emerge as a winner in almost all the later hardships of life and you will find yourself more intellectual in finding answers than most of the people around you.

In the darkness you can hide
But only the heart knows, what you feel inside
For when I cry, I bleed tears
My life is threaded by the needle of pain
The sorrow deep within, can I contain?
Why I live, you ask.
What purpose it serves?
For If I die, will you care?
Will you look at me and smile once again?
And as my end nears, let me ask again
Do you feel my pain?
Will you remember my name?

Depression can certainly be looked upon as a growth period, even when we feel we're not growing at all. I like your take on it.
