      Tick tock goes the clock
   making my day dissolve away.
                  The sun
                             sinks
                                     down
   as the world goes round,
like the hand of the ticking clock.
Dispair, it stares, its eyes not shy
               you know that I--
                                        I fade.
                                        I fade as the
                                                           sun
                                                                goes
                                                                      down
and the clock hands go round
                taunting my frantic mind.
                                The ticking of time--
                                                              it tocks.

Very well done. I always enjoy the topic of time; whether it been in a poem, song, or story. =)

Nice write,
