The snap is audible I fall forever Into that pool of the light Flash red flash blue flash green And the colours fade I lie in the warmth Of only memories wrapping around me Softness begging me let go, let me in Allow me this one moment and so all others She seduces With fine words With soft form With true freedom With no regrets Wine for the gasping man Her promises are to me So i open myself even as she envelops I give myself As she takes me And the beat subsides and once more alone I am lost To take a lot of pain, |

This is kinda cool. I get the sense the "she" here is some kind of feeling or phenomenon. I'd say death but... lost sounds a bit more like a continuing psychological state so the speaker's very much alive. In any case, cool read. |
