In the canyon of my life. I walk the darkest nights. Deep within the canyon, I find the beauty of God's soul. Little flowers of purple-gold, flowing through the canyon floor. Where sorrow once held my soul. Darkest nights and moonbeam lights, have filled my sorrowful soul. each tear that has fallen here, has become a flower to bloom away my tears. In the long dark nights, of my lonely fear. I sense his presence here. God walks the shadows, in the canyon of my life. Seeking to bring me cheer. The night is dark and deep, in the canyon of my life. Depression often takes me there. Filling me with despair. Sorrow follows and greets me there. Welcoming me in the deep dark canyon, of sorrows hold. Yet in the night of despair, God's light is always there. Pulling me through, to seek his face. Finding him in the night of grace. At the end of the canyon of my life, will I see his graceful face? To help me find my peaceful place. Among the flowers of purple-gold. Where my soul can be whole. Forever in his grace. |

An excellent write imho, thanks. I am reminded of the gospel song lyric that goes "Lord, I can't even walk without You holding my hand." Also, of course, of Psalm 23. Again, an excellent write here - appreciated. |
