I have an incomplete infection,
it eats away at me.
It will never leave my mind untouched,
I will never be free.

Free to live happily,
free to laugh and smile,
free to let go of things,
even for just a while.

None of that exists when you live like me,
There's no such thing as happiness,
no light for you to see.
