holds a scarecrow -

with stolen feelings -
forever not there -

death and dying -
falling -
is holding -
the scarecrow there -

never confident as before
the river scarecrow -

day by day
a glow of the river
a hundred moments fill

now and the after

with his direction
never certain
and
with his stolen feelings

it is never enough
for the whole
but the river flows
and the river flows

the river scarecrow thrives
