Pledge to Insanity

This past year
Has brought me tears
I never meant to bring you here

Down to the darkness
Close to the edge
Down to the insanity of which I pledge

I pledge allegiance to my soul
And to the voices that I hold
I'll keep the secrets I've been told
myself out, I can't be sold
I'll keep my vow day by day
Ill always follow what they say
Just let that bring what it may
And keep insanity coming my way

I brought you down
Below the ground
I pray your soul will be found

You wallow in sorrow
You pray no one to follow
You wish to see the light of tomorrow

Whoa.. that last 3 lines were the most powerful lines I've read in a while.. Wow..

I'm new so my words won't mean much. But i agree the last three lines hold a deep and sad meaning, and are well written.
