"untitled" hearing only the echoes of your own thoughts wide awake sometimes you dream with these eyes that don't see laughing miserably falling falling deeply losing sight of how much time has passed in the despair you hum softly waiting for that breath that will make it all ok tasting loneliness unable to atone the wound in your chest still bleeding becomes a tender scar On the other side of the pain and darkness confusion sets in sometimes The crumbling temptation has a smiling face Emptier still you sway from side to side muttering over and over like a vague dream laughing softly The melody you hum engraves then disappears unable to forget you gazed vacantly The reality You still cannot change The scars that remain on your outstretched arm pile on each other Because it hurts... because you promised... they make you feel uneasy you fall as far as you can As deeply as you can waiting for that breath that will make it all ok [This message has been edited by NormalitxButterfly (03-26-2010 10:57 PM).] |

"in the despair you hum softly waiting for that breath that will make it all ok" These lines here struck me the hardest. Great work. -Zach Wish I could find love.. But all I find these days are superficial fish in shallow waters. |
