Gold tank tops and yesterdays sweet talks
i lay here unwinding wrapped in another's shadow
hey, little one, the death man is coming soon
did you not know how hard it was to get to the moon
drunken I stand up, grasping for his hand
i fall through the foot of empty space
and whispered god as I landed on my face
I could see my gold tank tops
though I could not remeber the sound of yesterday

An overall feeling of regret seems to pervade this piece as the subject struggles with a groggy state.  At least that is how I perceive this work.  It is good work.
