To The Depths

Backwards I fall to the depths
Off the cliff because of secrets kept
Into the icy sea I am now swept
Because of darkness that has crept

The darkness now floods my eyes
When nobody is around to hear my cries
I feel as if they are all spies
So I cover my secrets with a veil of lies

Thoughts of my own death come to
Of how much stress would be shooed
I contemplate but I just can't do
What I truly want, because of you

I want to live and see you free
free of mind and body, I mean
I want to be able to finally see
Your potential, a goal that came to me

But it's so hard to wait, I'm impatient
I want this all to end, it's blatant
That I need you to hurry, a statement
Not a question, I'm far from complacent

So please stop wasting your time
and start the difficult climb
Back up, because you slipped
And apart, your life has been ripped
