T’isn’t often these days That I wander into places I haven’t been For a while. T’is often in a daze Of burdensome thoughts once agin That beguile. Usually, What I see from my seat Isn’t a place to greet and meet But watching and waiting for time To skitter by wiping my mind, Usually. Now I mostly drink heavily at home Except for those two cats alone But in strange place Where unknown faces Try to beguile I drink and speak reserved in myself Usually. But once in a while A dinner goes right And it turns into a night Yet I return to cats and myself To finish the drinking And burdensome thought thinking Till all fades. Gloom |

Though life is dark enough at times, and I don't usually peek in here, but I would invite you to take the stool next to me M |
