I have made a Flash video for this poem. If you are interested in watching it http://www3.sympatico.ca/mike263/index.html is the link. (I hope you all enjoy. It is "G" Rated IMHO) Through a vision of ultimate sin... I sought the power of sound, found in violins! I sought the suffering in Siam. I am what I am, I even tattoo my own pentagrams. As the rivers flow into the sea, the dark clouds hang high over me. As you peer through hallowed mist, the moons beauty is hard to resist. Thinking things of dread, a twisted wish. I feel despair like the names missing on Schindler's List! Melting in the pot is a crucifix. No God before me, no God after me I perceive the evil lurking inside me Can tears really weep in silence? Try and deny it, but if today... was the end of your days. Would you compose a work of art? Would it be cryptic from the stress that grief puts on the heart? Beside a yard of flint and bone. Near a families drinking well and home. A whisper in the woods allows the poison to flow. In a single cherished moment so medieval. The strange and overpowering feeling was primeval. I see so many homeless, so many hopeless. But why should I care? On the Same side of the street... I see "Help Wanted" everywhere! The news full of terrorist threats, temples of regret! Repo a priest's lungs, to fill the oxygen’s debt Don’t care if the bloods dry or it's wet. Smoke a cigarette when my stomach's upset. I'm a Dark silhouette, speaking the truth is my character set. You better bet on the fact I use fiction. Like the Bible when it speaks about Jesus's crucifixion! |
