Relapse is a fall from grace To slip away and lose your place From life's monotonous rat-of-a-race Drawn forward by a devilish lace- He pulls you on a wayward path The noose, it tightens, as you gasp For air, for life, not on this track Of twisted lines and cellophane packs Continue, trapped, your body weak Teetering hopelessly on a forelorn peak He's got you now, your soul he seeks Tears of despair stream down your cheek It's now too late - the end is near The wind, it whispers in your ear "I will pleasure you eternally in my lair- Wrap your hand in Death, my lovely dear." |

Wow, you finally posted!!!!!!!! I have been checking everyday since April!!! I hope all is well...I miss PRIZE... I have written over 20 poems since May and some of the stuff is really dark & depressing. I have had many up/down days over the past few months. June was very tough for me but July is getting better. Thank god for meds and therapy! lol |
