I have found that I can't quite adjust When water falls from the sky like dust And riddles the ground with a blanket of white cold Like every other year since ages ago And I know that all I do Is to keep me out of this cold blue And I know that I can't keep fighting Because soon I will loose the lighting I am a person hard to contain Like every other virus or infectious strain I am simply a disease Help me, please I know that all I do Is to keep myself from hurting you But I know I won't be kept bound Until I am 6 feet underground I never understood Why people sat and made falsehoods And watched the world they loved burn down And watched as many people were struck to the ground It makes me sick It makes me writhe It makes me tired of living this life I have found that I can't quite adjust When the ashes fall from the sky like dust And riddle the ground like sand on the floor Soaking in the sins of their fathers before The People watch The Angels gaze And Demons laugh As I leave this place |

"I have found that I can't quite adjust When water falls from the sky like dust And riddles the ground with a blanket of white cold. Like every other year since ages ago." I really like this poem. Very good for your first here, Red. The stanza above was an awesome opener for your poem. It is also my fav in this piece. Nice images and substance in this. Good work. -Def- - If I cant bend Heaven, I shall move Hell - |
