go away,
i have nothing for you
perform your practiced stances
of humanity elsewhere
i will not act in this pathetic pantomime
of gracious generosity

go away
before i close this distance
that you so carefully keep
and infect you with my pain
before your children
learn to play with me.

go away,
leave me to
my slow inertia

I like this! Something about this poem just speaks to me although I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the tone of your words - somewhere between sadness and anger?
