As softly silent, swiftly quick, as nimble as an archer's flick, as he lets loose into the night, I fly as swift as arrow flight. As silent as the shadows go, I dance my dancein shadows' flow. I glide beneath dark windowsill. I dance my dance, break not the still. I leap through streets and alleyways, as dark as death with panther's grace. Then look into the night sky wide not breaking in my stalking stride. The night-time dew remains unmoved in my dark wake, no trail anew. My dance unbroken; dark's sweet graces, treading shadows, hidden places. As softly silent, swiftly quick, as nimble as an archer's flick. Dare you venture night's dark chance, keep sharp and watch my shadow dance. |
