I'll be your greatest fear
And haunt the memories of your past
You won't acknowledge my presence
I'll hide within the agony
Your heart has begged to flee
Too many times a failure
Has become your only savior
You want a name to call on
A page to write on
Another care to bleed on
Breaking down the walls
That have been holding you together
Like stitches in the flesh
Salt poured in the wound
Burning, screaming
Silenced by the lack of existence
They don't see you
Tempted by your demons
Erased by endless feelings
That never found their way inside you
The skeptic beneath
Doubts every answer spoken
And if nothing will ever be the same
Why is it so hard
To admit that you're a waste
Bleeding onto a thousand empty pages

Wow. That was very powerful. Although I found that in a couple of the lines where they were short kind of jumped the rythem a bit. All in all though it was a very good read. It seems there was alot of emotion put into it. Great work!

A tremendously powerful write Emily. But I would expect nothing less from you.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.
