Bonds of blood born in bliss, None closer than one’s kin. Happy is the child who receives Unyielding affection all freely gives. Blessedness should colour the home, Yet unbridled umbrage slowly casts its stones. Bonds of blood made bitter and brittle, Kindred memories now an inconvenient clutter. Suffer the child in want of family, When invidious greens and fiery reds colour the days. All is black even when there’s none to blame, Surely they know the stakes of this game. Joy crushed and childhoods strained, Innocence coffers the melee drains. How much longer can we wait, before Bonds of blood bend and break. |
